Hi Mark,Thanks for sharing the link. The reason we are checking with our ISP instead of VAR is that the router technically belongs to our ISP. They changed the router when it broke. When our engineer found the appxk9 license on it to be on evaluation license, we asked them for verification if we need to do anything about it.

They took ages to reply. Thanks for confirming my initial info indicating that appxk9 is required.

I do find something interesting from the pdf in the link you shared. It stated 'Each technology package has an evaluation license that converts to a Right to Use (RTU) license after 60days and is then valid permanently'. The part number on the invoice should give a clue as to what technology packages were purchased.Here's the sho license from the 2901 in my lab. Anything with 'License Type: Permament' is bought and paid for. Anything with 'License Type: EvalRightToUse' can be used for an evaluation period but will not convert to Permanent without the appropriate license upgrade being purchased. They said both did not contain the appxk9 license. But since Cisco said so, there is nothing I can push further except wait for the D day. At least we have Cisco confirmation in black and white as an assurance.
